About the Role
Viking is looking for an AI Engineer to design, build, and operationalize AI agents that support software development and testing workflows. You’ll help teams ship faster and with higher quality by reducing manual effort and enabling more consistent engineering and QA practices.
Responsibilities
- Identify high-impact opportunities where AI agents can improve developer and testing productivity
- Build reliable AI agents and integrate them into existing engineering toolchains
- Collaborate with engineering, QA automation, and systems analysis to define agent workflows
- Operationalize agents for real-world use, including monitoring and continuous improvement
- Measure outcomes using clear productivity and quality metrics
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building AI/LLM-based systems or agent workflows
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to integrate with existing tools
- Experience working with QA automation or testing workflows is a plus
- Ability to evaluate impact and iterate based on engineering and quality results
