1. Introduction

FindJobHere ("we", "us", "our") operates the website https://www.findjobhere.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect the personal information of users ("you") of our job portal, in accordance with applicable US privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and other state privacy regulations.

For questions or to exercise your privacy rights, contact us at contact@findjobhere.com or through our Contact page.

2. Who We Are

FindJobHere is a job portal that:

  • Aggregates jobs from partner platforms and companies, making it easier to find opportunities in the United States.
  • Offers a free area for job seekers with tools such as saving jobs, tracking applications, email alerts, and AI-powered Match Score.
  • Offers an area for employers to post jobs with an external application link, subscription plans, and aggregated analytics.

We act as an information intermediary for job listings. Actual applications are submitted on the employer's or source platform's website, unless you use optional account features (such as uploading a resume for Match Score).

3. Information We Collect

The information we collect varies based on how you use the Platform:

3.1. Visitors (without an account)

  • IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of access, and cookies.
  • Anonymous interaction events with job listings (views, clicks on apply), for aggregate statistics.

3.2. Job alert subscriptions (leads)

  • Name, email, and applied search filters (category, city, work mode, search term).
  • Source URL and subscription context.

3.3. Job seekers with an account

  • Authentication: name, email, profile photo, and OAuth identifier (Google or LinkedIn).
  • Preferences: categories, cities, work modes, minimum salary, and email notification settings.
  • Resume (optional): content extracted from uploaded files (PDF, DOC, DOCX, or TXT), including experience, education, skills, and other information in the document.
  • Applications: status, notes, and tracking dates for jobs you recorded on the Platform (the actual application occurs on the external site).
  • Saved jobs and viewing history.
  • Match Score: compatibility scores and AI-generated analysis for consulted jobs.
  • Referral program: referral code and record of referrals made.
  • Notifications: in-app and email alerts about compatible jobs, reminders, and updates.

3.4. Employers with an account

  • Authentication data (name, email, OAuth) of the account administrator.
  • Company data: name, description, website, logo, and posted jobs.
  • Subscription data: plan, status, and billing identifiers (processed by Stripe).
  • Aggregate performance metrics for posted jobs (views and clicks).

3.5. Contact form

  • Name, email, subject, and message.
  • IP address, included in the internal email for security and abuse prevention purposes.

4. How We Collect Information

  • Forms: job alerts, contact, and employer job postings.
  • Social login: Google OAuth and LinkedIn OAuth, when you choose to create an account.
  • File uploads: resume voluntarily submitted in the job seeker area.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: session, authentication, analytics, and advertising (based on your cookie preferences).
  • Local storage: consent preferences and user experience elements (localStorage/sessionStorage).
  • Automatic collection: server logs, browsing events, and job listing interactions.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Display jobs, informational content, and Platform features.
  • Create and manage your job seeker or employer account.
  • Send job alerts and transactional communications, when requested or necessary for the service.
  • Process resumes and generate compatibility analyses (Match Score) upon your action.
  • Allow employers to post jobs, manage subscriptions, and view aggregate metrics.
  • Process payments for employer plans.
  • Respond to contact messages and provide support.
  • Ensure security, prevent fraud and abuse (including anti-bot verification on the contact form).
  • Perform aggregate statistical analyses to improve the service.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

6. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your information based on the following:

  • Consent: email job alert subscriptions, analytics and advertising cookies, resume upload, and use of Match Score.
  • Contract performance: account creation and maintenance, features contracted by employers, and subscription processing.
  • Legitimate interest: Platform security, fraud prevention, aggregate statistics, and service improvement, while respecting your rights.
  • Legal obligation: compliance with applicable laws and government orders.

7. Sharing and Service Providers

We share personal information only when necessary to operate the Platform, with the following service providers:

  • Google: OAuth login, Google Analytics (with anonymized IP), and Google AdSense (advertising).
  • Contentsquare: anonymous heatmaps and session recordings to improve site experience — loaded only with your consent.
  • LinkedIn: OAuth login.
  • OpenAI: resume processing, Match Score generation, and job description enrichment.
  • Stripe: payment processing and employer subscription management.
  • Cloudflare (Turnstile): anti-bot verification on the contact form.
  • Email provider (SMTP): sending alerts, notifications, and transactional communications.
  • Microsoft Azure: blog image storage and editorial content.

We may also share information with legal authorities when required by law or court order.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Some providers may process data outside the United States. In such cases, we adopt contractual and technical safeguards, including standard clauses from the providers themselves.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and local storage as described below:

  • Essential: session, authentication, and CSRF protection — necessary for the site to function.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics and Contentsquare): understanding usage patterns and interface behavior — loaded only with your consent.
  • Advertising (Google AdSense): ad display — loaded only with your consent.
  • Preferences (localStorage): recording your cookie choices and interface preferences.

You can manage cookies through the banner displayed on your first visit, through the Manage cookies link in the site footer, or in your browser settings. Declining optional cookies does not prevent basic use of the Platform, but may limit analytics functionality and personalized ad display.

To understand how Google uses data from partner sites and apps, visit How Google uses data from partner sites.

9. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Decisions

The Match Score uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to compare your resume with job requirements and generate an informational compatibility score.

  • The result is purely informational and does not constitute an automated decision with legal or significant effects on you.
  • Use is optional — simply do not upload a resume or request analyses.
  • To generate the analysis, we send OpenAI the content of your resume and the consulted job description.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Job seeker or employer account: while the account is active; deleted immediately when using the "Delete account" function in your profile or upon request.
  • Job alerts (leads): until subscription cancellation or deletion request.
  • Expired jobs: permanently removed 90 days after the expiration date.
  • Read notifications: removed after 60 days.
  • Match Score history: while the account is active.
  • Contact form: messages received via internal email, without storage in a database.

11. Data Security

We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Password encryption with bcrypt algorithm (administrative accounts).
  • HTTPS communication with SSL/TLS certificates.
  • Authentication tokens in HttpOnly and Secure cookies.
  • Login attempt rate limiting (brute force protection).
  • Restricted access controls for personal data.
  • Anti-bot verification on the contact form.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to know: request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect about you.
  • Right to delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

  • Right to opt out of sale/sharing: we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the rights described above. We do not sell your personal information. To submit a verifiable consumer request, email us at contact@findjobhere.com.
