We’re looking for an Application Development Manager to lead a three-person application development team inside our IT organization. This is a player-coach position—ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on coding while also bringing clarity and structure to how software is built, reviewed, secured, and maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day development for internal applications and enterprise integrations
  • Act as a player-coach by writing code, reviewing pull requests, and solving complex technical issues
  • Mentor and support developers to improve engineering practices and delivery quality
  • Help design and maintain secure, reliable processes for software development and maintenance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build tools such as dashboards, data utilities, and analysis platforms

Requirements

  • Experience leading or managing application development teams (small teams welcome)
  • Strong hands-on software development skills and comfort working in production codebases
  • Proven ability to mentor engineers and set expectations for code quality and review
  • Experience building or integrating enterprise systems and internal business applications
  • Knowledge of secure development practices and maintainable engineering workflows

Benefits

  • Opportunity to lead impactful software that supports employees across the firm
  • Collaborative IT environment with a supportive 11-person team
