About the Role
Join IEM and help deliver advanced electrical distribution solutions for complex power needs. As an Applications Design Engineer, you’ll support our sales and design teams by applying engineering expertise to custom solutions involving three-phase power, automation, and communications in low- and medium-voltage switchgear.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-order engineering support to Sales and Quotations
- Support design efforts that address real-world customer and project requirements
- Apply high-level engineering concepts to troubleshoot and develop practical solution approaches
- Collaborate with internal teams to help shape custom switchgear configurations
Requirements
- Background in electrical engineering with experience in power systems
- Knowledge of three-phase power applications
- Familiarity with automation and communications concepts for switchgear systems
