About the Role
Madewell is looking for an Associate Designer to help shape seasonal concepts for our jewelry and soft accessories. You’ll partner closely with your manager to develop ideas, refine color stories, and support the creation of products that feel premium, versatile, and beautifully made.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with your manager to develop seasonal design concepts and color stories
- Support product development across jewelry and soft accessories including scarves, socks, sunglasses, hats, and seasonal items
- Create professional presentation boards featuring illustrations, CAD artwork, and fabrication details
- Contribute to material selection and communicate design direction clearly through visual and technical assets
Requirements
- Experience or coursework in fashion/product design with a focus on accessories
- Comfort working with CAD tools and translating design concepts into presentation materials
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for color, proportion, and materials
