About the Role
As an Associate Director in Maintenance and Reliability Engineering (MRE), you’ll lead maintenance and reliability efforts across multiple buildings within your assigned business vertical. This role blends hands-on leadership with strategic planning—driving a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and team accountability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee MRE processes covering automation and manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, refrigeration, and PIT (forklift) equipment
- Manage building and grounds upkeep to support safe, efficient operations across multiple facilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of managers and technicians, creating an environment where feedback and improvement are encouraged
- Partner with senior MRE leadership to define, develop, and execute a maintenance roadmap for your business vertical
- Set standards for operational efficiency and reliability performance within the assigned scope
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in maintenance, reliability, or facilities operations
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and industrial equipment upkeep
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and coaching technical leaders
- Ability to partner with senior leadership to translate strategy into practical roadmaps
