About the Role

CX2 is seeking a hands-on Avionics Systems Integration Engineer to lead the integration, verification, and operational readiness of avionics systems for advanced unmanned aircraft and defense platforms. You’ll bring together flight-critical hardware and mission software—ensuring the aircraft is ready for ground and flight testing.

Responsibilities

• Integrate avionics subsystems including flight computers, mission systems, sensors, payload interfaces, and communications equipment
• Own technical execution across development, integration, test, troubleshooting, and deployment
• Perform verification activities to confirm system performance and readiness for test operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in a rapid, iterative development environment
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis during integration and test
• Contribute to operational readiness for ground and flight test campaigns

Requirements

• Experience integrating and verifying avionics or other safety/mission-critical embedded systems
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills across hardware and software components
• Strong understanding of system integration workflows, test planning, and verification
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams
• Experience working in fast-paced development environments
