About the Role
FirstEnergy Service Co. is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Energy Efficiency Department within the Evaluation, Measurement, and Verification (EM&V) team. This role provides analytical support for the development and implementation of EM&V processes that help ensure energy efficiency compliance and reporting readiness.
This position may be located anywhere within FirstEnergy’s footprint, with major hubs including Akron, Reading, Greensburg, Fairmont, Morristown/Holmdel, Erie, or Toledo. Akron (A-FEHQ) and Greensburg are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze program and reporting requirements related to energy efficiency compliance and EM&V activities
- Support development, tracking, and improvement of reporting deliverables and documentation
- Assist with evaluation, measurement, and verification analytics to support program performance insights
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather data, validate assumptions, and resolve reporting issues
- Contribute to process improvements that strengthen data quality and reporting accuracy
Requirements
- Experience in business analysis, reporting, or analytics within a regulated or compliance-focused environment
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data quality
- Ability to translate requirements into clear reporting and documentation
- Comfort collaborating cross-functionally and working with multiple stakeholders
