About the Role
Redwood Materials is seeking a Business Applications Engineer to own the day-to-day administration of our Workday HCM platform and related People systems. This role supports an existing Workday tenant (not a greenfield implementation), with a focus on stability, continuous improvement, and reliable operations.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Workday HCM and connected People systems on a daily basis
- Stabilize the existing Workday environment and help resolve issues in a timely manner
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into system improvements
- Coordinate testing, release support, and ongoing maintenance activities for Workday changes
- Monitor system health and performance, and help implement best practices for long-term reliability
Requirements
- Experience administering Workday HCM (or equivalent enterprise HR application administration)
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and how they map to system configuration
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and drive them to resolution
- Experience supporting integrations or connected People systems is a plus
- Clear communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
