About the Role
SMX is hiring a QA Tester/Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise software, cloud-native solutions, and AI-enabled systems. You’ll partner with development and operations teams in a fast-paced environment, applying strong testing fundamentals across manual and automated approaches.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications, APIs, and cloud-native services
- Perform manual and automated testing across functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing
- Validate AI-enabled applications and machine learning integrations, including end-to-end workflows
- Support continuous integration by executing tests and helping improve test coverage and reliability
- Verify integrations and ensure solutions meet security standards and operational best practices
Requirements
- Experience with both manual and automated testing
- Background developing test strategies and maintaining test assets (plans, cases, scripts)
- Familiarity with CI/CD and test execution in continuous integration environments
- Knowledge of API and web application testing
- Experience with performance and security testing practices
