About the Role
SMX is seeking Cloud Analysts at the junior to senior level to support the design and implementation of secure, scalable multi-cloud infrastructure for enterprise analytics and mission-critical systems for the United States Air Force. You’ll translate client and business requirements into cloud-native architecture, help drive DevOps automation, and ensure interoperability across a diverse technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Design secure cloud-native solutions based on customer requirements and mission needs
- Support systems integration and automation across multi-cloud platforms
- Evaluate cloud services and platforms to recommend best-fit approaches
- Collaborate with customers and technical teams to deliver interoperable infrastructure
- Apply management analysis and advanced technical research techniques to inform modernization strategies
Requirements
- Technical expertise across virtualization, operating systems, storage, networking, and security
- Experience designing and implementing cloud solutions (multi-cloud preferred)
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and secure infrastructure patterns
- Ability to support automation and DevOps-oriented workflows
- Familiarity with systems integration and long-term modernization planning
