About the Role
Pacifica Beauty is seeking a Community & Social Manager who loves building community, partnering with creators, and executing social strategy across multiple channels. This hands-on role supports creator/community campaigns, manages day-to-day engagement, coordinates events, and helps protect and grow brand sentiment through thoughtful responses and review management.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with creators and influencers across platforms such as TikTok Shop, Levanta, CreatorIQ, and Shopify affiliates or similar tools
- Identify, vet, and onboard creators aligned with campaign goals and brand voice
- Own creator campaign workflows from brief and content review through performance recap
- Track creator performance and explore content licensing opportunities (e.g., Spark Ads, whitelisting, and organic-to-paid conversion)
- Drive day-to-day community engagement across brand social channels, including comments and DMs
- Monitor social trends and recommend community or campaign opportunities that support engagement and conversion
- Oversee reputation management by monitoring and responding to reviews on platforms such as Google, Sephora, Ulta, Amazon, and Trustpilot
- Escalate recurring product or customer service themes to internal teams while maintaining consistent brand tone
- Coordinate logistics for brand events, activations, and creator collaborations (in-person and virtual)
- Capture and repurpose event content for social and community channels, including shot lists, on-site production support, and recap content
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in social media, community management, or influencer/creator marketing
- Must live in the NYC area
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Hands-on experience with creator platforms and affiliate or licensing workflows
- Strong writing skills and a clear understanding of brand voice across audiences and channels
- Experience with review and reputation management
- Comfortable reviewing basic performance metrics and translating insights into next steps
- Event planning and cross-functional collaboration experience (in-person or virtual)
- Experience producing or supporting live event content (photo/video capture and real-time posting)
- Willingness to travel to NYC-based events and occasional company travel outside NYC (typically 4+ times per year)
- Ability to work hybrid in the NYC area as needed (role is currently remote with potential hybrid shift)
