About the Role
Sanctuary is seeking a punctual, execution-focused Construction Manager to lead on-site operations for our first large-scale residential development in the Texas Hill Country (50+ homes, with additional projects in progress). This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality homes while keeping budgets and schedules on track.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day construction site leadership for active residential projects
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams to maintain production
- Track project schedule and milestones, escalating risks early to prevent delays
- Monitor budgets, job costs, and build cost drivers to stay within targets
- Ensure quality standards and construction practices align with project requirements
- Support planning and execution for upcoming phases and future developments
Requirements
- Proven experience managing residential construction projects from start to finish
- Strong ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple moving parts on-site
- Demonstrated leadership skills with subcontractors and trades
- Working knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and quality control
- Ability to work on-site in the Texas Hill Country area (near Austin)
