About the Role
Join our team as a Critical Care Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Army Medical Center, Madigan, in Tacoma, Washington. This is a Direct Hire opportunity, and recruitment or relocation incentives may be available. For eligible candidates, student loan repayment and salary negotiation for new-to-Federal-service applicants may be offered.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care nursing to patients in the ICU, serving as a clinical expert and resource for other care team members
- Assist physicians with complex and potentially life-threatening procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal care delivery
- Observe, monitor, and assess patients’ conditions and respond to changes in status
Requirements
- Experience providing nursing care in critical care settings, such as an ICU (details may be confirmed during screening)
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex patient needs
- Ability to work effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
