About the Role
Iterative Health is seeking its first dedicated Cybersecurity Engineer to build and lead a new security program from the ground up. This is a high-impact opportunity to establish security practices that protect a performance-driven healthcare technology organization supporting clinical research.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and mature an end-to-end cybersecurity program
- Develop security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with organizational needs
- Assess risk across systems and applications, prioritizing remediation efforts
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate security into day-to-day workflows
- Support incident readiness through monitoring, documentation, and response planning
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building security controls and security tooling
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals (e.g., identity, network, endpoint, and application security)
- Experience conducting security assessments and communicating risk clearly
- Ability to operate independently while partnering across teams
