About the Role
Redwood Materials is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead a team of Data Engineers and Analysts. You’ll partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, define solutions, and set the long-term roadmap for our data platform and services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Data Engineering and Analytics team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional business units to scope data initiatives and prioritize roadmap items
- Manage and evolve data assets within a data lake environment
- Drive improvements to data platform reliability, performance, and scalability
- Ensure data engineering practices support analytics and operational reporting
Requirements
- Proven experience managing data engineering teams or leading data platform efforts
- Strong background in building and operating data lake or data platform solutions
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and delivery plans
- Experience partnering with stakeholders across functions to deliver measurable outcomes
