About the Role
Join our IT support team as a Desktop Support Technician, providing professional assistance to customers with software, hardware, and network troubleshooting across Windows and macOS environments. You’ll support clients both on-site and remotely, delivering clear, client-focused solutions while working independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and connectivity issues for end users and customers
- Provide technical support to customers and collaborate with other support specialists
- Deliver, set up, and configure new workstations and peripherals, including updates and related support needs
- Support deployment and emergency on-site or in-shop repairs for computing and audiovisual equipment
- Troubleshoot and support video projection and audio systems
- Communicate, track, and report computing environment outages
- Maintain documented inventory records and manage workstation/peripheral assets
- Act as a team leader when needed
Requirements
- Hands-on experience supporting Windows and/or macOS devices
- Strong troubleshooting skills across software, hardware, and networking
- Ability to provide support both remotely and on-site in a professional manner
- Experience with workstation setup, deployment, and peripheral configuration
- Comfort supporting basic audiovisual and projection-related equipment
- Ability to work independently with limited direction and collaborate in a team environment
