About the Role
Verisign is seeking an Engineer IV to support Critical Facilities within our Global Data Center Operations team. In this onsite position at our Ashburn Data Center, you’ll serve as a technical resource and provide leadership for the day-to-day operations and capacity planning of mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems in a data center environment
- Assist with capacity planning and operational readiness for critical infrastructure
- Serve as a technical leader to guide troubleshooting, maintenance coordination, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain reliability, safety, and uptime
Requirements
- Experience maintaining and operating electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems
- Technical aptitude in mission-critical facilities operations and related troubleshooting
- Program management skills to support planning, execution, and operational follow-through
- Strong ability to work onsite in a fast-paced data center environment
