About the Role

Wayve is hiring an Engineering Technician to support the development and testing of embodied AI systems for autonomous driving. Founded in 2017, we build advanced AI software and foundation models that help vehicles perceive, understand, and navigate complex environments. In this role, you’ll help ensure prototypes and test setups run smoothly so engineers can iterate quickly and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with hardware bring-up, setup, and troubleshooting for engineering test environments
  • Support the preparation, calibration, and maintenance of lab and field equipment
  • Document test configurations, results, and issues to support repeatable engineering workflows
  • Collaborate with engineers to diagnose problems and implement practical fixes
  • Maintain organization and readiness of tools, parts, and testing infrastructure

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience supporting engineering or technical testing in a lab or production environment
  • Comfort working with electronic/mechanical systems and basic instrumentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow procedures and keep clear technical documentation
  • Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
