About the Role
KMPH FOX26 is seeking an entry-level editor/writer to support our high school football coverage. This part-time role is designed for a reliable candidate who can help coordinate sponsorship elements and prepare highlight content for our corporate team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate sponsorship scripts and graphics from the production truck
- Edit and feed football highlights to Sinclair corporate
- Support Friday Night Rivals coverage during the high school football season
- Follow station scheduling needs, including weekend coverage during other parts of the year
Requirements
- Currently enrolled or in-progress: junior or senior year of college at a four-year accredited institution
- Interest in building a career in news
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift on Fridays during football season
- Ability to work a 2-hour shift the next day during football season
- For non-season periods, availability for scheduled weekend shifts (6:45–11:15pm Saturday and Sunday)
