About the Role
KMPH FOX26 is seeking an entry-level editor/writer to support our high school football coverage. This part-time role averages about 10 hours per week and is essential to keeping our Friday Night Rivals broadcasts running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate sponsorship scripts and graphics with the production team from the production truck
- Work scheduled shifts during high school football season, including Friday and follow-up editing
- Edit and prepare highlights for delivery back to Sinclair’s corporate team
- Support weekend coverage during non-football parts of the year as scheduled
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a four-year accredited college/university, or completed coursework with junior/senior status
- Interest and intent to pursue a career in news
- Highly motivated and able to follow fast-paced production timelines
