About the Role
Howmet Engine Systems is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in La Porte, Indiana. You will support the Plant Controller with day-to-day general accounting activities, help coordinate month-end close, and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting. This role also contributes to forecasting and the analysis of operational performance, with a strong focus on expense processing and inventory-related reporting.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead on the shop floor cost system and related reporting
- Analyze financial and operational results to support decision-making
- Support monthly tracking and reconciliation of accounts receivable (AR)
- Process and monitor expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Monitor and report inventory activity, standard cost revisions, and operating budget performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial analysis and/or plant or manufacturing finance
- Strong accounting fundamentals and month-end close support experience
- Ability to analyze data, reconcile accounts, and communicate insights clearly
- Comfort working with cost systems and budget/forecast reporting
