About the Role
Join our team as a Food Service Worker in Auburn Hills, MI. You’ll help prepare and serve food, keep the serving areas stocked and clean, and provide friendly, accurate service to every guest.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as building fruit cups and supporting salad bar operations
- Stock and organize food supplies to ensure stations are ready for service
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing information about policies and procedures
- Communicate with customers regarding orders, comments, and complaints
- Handle point-of-sale transactions, including accepting cash, checks, credit cards, vouchers, and other payment types
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, and change accurately
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Maintain a clean and organized work area through regular cleaning and restocking
Requirements
- Strong customer service mindset and friendly communication skills
- Ability to follow food safety and cleanliness standards
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for cash handling and POS transactions
- Comfort working in a fast-paced team environment
