About the Role
OpenTrack is seeking a Head of Operations to help keep our logistics platform and teams running at peak efficiency. You’ll act as a strategic extension of the CEO—owning key decisions, coordinating cross-functional workstreams, and ensuring company priorities are executed with clarity and speed.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with the CEO and leadership team to drive strategic initiatives and ensure execution aligns to company priorities
- Own end-to-end project management for high-impact initiatives, from planning through delivery
- Triaging incoming requests and open items directed to the CEO—filtering, delegating, and resolving most matters independently
- Define, document, and operationalize company-wide processes to improve efficiency, alignment, and reduce recurring CEO involvement
- Serve as a central communication hub to maintain coordination across teams and route only the most critical issues to the CEO
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions with ownership, rather than escalating
- Track progress against goals, KPIs, and strategic priorities; surface risks early and recommend course corrections
- Conduct analysis and research to support decisions on strategy, partnerships, and growth opportunities
- Act as a trusted advisor and sounding board to the CEO, proactively flagging what leadership needs to know
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in a high-growth startup environment, consulting, operations, or strategy
- Strong written communication and organizational skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations
- Proven project management ability, including managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong business judgment and comfort operating independently in ambiguous situations
- Experience representing senior leadership and owning outcomes
- Ability to collaborate across teams and levels with excellent interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and operational excellence
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
Benefits
- Work with an international team across Nashville, Chicago, and Europe
- Autonomy, curiosity, and a culture that values getting things done
- Opportunity to directly shape operations that support real-time logistics innovation
