About the Role
Scout Motors is looking for an Engineer to own test requirements and validation for our infotainment systems. You’ll help define what “good” looks like, translate product needs into testable requirements, and support validation activities that ensure our in-vehicle experiences perform reliably across real-world conditions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test requirements for infotainment features and functions
- Translate system and software needs into clear, testable acceptance criteria
- Support validation planning, execution, and evidence collection for releases
- Collaborate with software, systems, and product teams to resolve issues and close gaps in requirements
- Contribute to requirements traceability and verification status tracking
Requirements
- Experience working with test requirements, validation, or verification in embedded or automotive software
- Strong understanding of requirements management and traceability practices
- Familiarity with infotainment systems and/or in-vehicle software validation workflows
- Ability to analyze test outcomes and drive improvements to requirements and test coverage
