About the Role
Stitch Fix is looking for a Lead Engineer to help define the technical direction for the Product Catalog systems that power our product data ecosystem. You’ll guide the tools, workflows, and data models that support the end-to-end product lifecycle—from new style creation and catalog enrichment through readiness, validation, and downstream customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Set technical strategy for catalog-related systems and data pipelines
- Design and improve tools, workflows, and data models across the product lifecycle
- Lead complex problem solving from discovery through implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure reliable product data and quality
Requirements
- Proven experience leading engineering initiatives in data- or platform-focused environments
- Strong background in software design, scalable systems, and data modeling
- Experience building or improving workflows that support production readiness and validation
- Ability to drive technical decisions and mentor teammates through complex challenges
