About the Role
ELMHS is seeking a skilled Maintenance Repairer 2 (WAE) to support the Maintenance Department in Jackson, Louisiana. This role helps keep hospital grounds and facilities safe, functional, and well maintained through a variety of repair and upkeep tasks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain hospital grounds and facilities by performing routine groundskeeping and upkeep work
- Operate landscaping and grounds equipment as needed
- Complete basic repairs and assist with facility maintenance tasks
- Support maintenance needs across a range of areas, including general carpentry and HVAC-related tasks
Requirements
- Experience performing maintenance, repair, or facilities/grounds support work
- Ability to operate landscaping and repair equipment safely
- Comfort working across multiple maintenance areas (e.g., basic carpentry and HVAC support)
