About the Role
Join our team as a Maintenance Specialist supporting manufacturing operations at the Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN. In this role, you’ll perform skilled maintenance activities to keep production equipment running reliably while following established safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Stop work and promptly report major injury hazards to help maintain a safe work environment
- Select and use the right tools, machinery, and specialty equipment to support maintenance needs
- Follow safe work practices when working around electricity and other energy sources used by industrial equipment
- Complete required compliance reporting for work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards
- Work independently as needed and assist by instructing or coaching others
Requirements
- Experience performing skilled maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of safe procedures for electrical and energy-source hazards
- Ability to select appropriate tools and equipment for maintenance tasks
- Strong safety awareness and attention to compliance and reporting
