About the Role
Figure is building an AI robotics company that scales real-world manufacturing of a general-purpose humanoid platform. As a Materials Planning Manager for Electronics, you’ll lead end-to-end materials planning to keep production running smoothly and support ambitious build schedules.
Responsibilities
- Own the full materials planning process for electronics components, from demand signals through production execution
- Apply MRP principles to improve inventory accuracy and visibility across the build lifecycle
- Identify and resolve part shortages, expediting issues as needed to protect production timelines
- Translate demand planning into actionable production plans and communicate risks clearly to stakeholders
- Partner with Manufacturing, NPI, Global Supply Management, and Logistics to align supply, timing, and quality
- Drive continuous improvement in planning workflows, data integrity, and planning performance metrics
Requirements
- Proven experience in materials planning, production planning, or supply planning for electronics or complex manufacturing
- Strong understanding of MRP and inventory management concepts
- Ability to analyze demand, supply, and constraints to develop practical recovery plans
- Cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Comfort working with planning systems and operational data to maintain accuracy and traceability
