About the Role
Mainspring Energy builds fuel-flexible, low-emissions power solutions that help customers add reliable electric capacity quickly. We’re seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with an electromechanical focus to help develop next-generation power hardware used in advanced development and real-world field operations.
Responsibilities
- Design electromechanical components and assemblies for reliability, manufacturability, and performance
- Create and maintain mechanical design documentation, including drawings and engineering specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust mechanical solutions
- Support prototyping, testing, and iterative design improvements based on results
- Contribute to design reviews and help drive continuous improvement across the engineering process
Requirements
- Experience with mechanical design for electromechanical systems
- Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering and component-level design
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate design intent
- Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment
- Experience supporting prototyping or product development (preferred)
