About the Role
Jovie Nannies + Sitters is seeking a warm, engaging nanny to provide in-home care for children from toddler through early elementary age. This role typically runs Monday through Friday during traditional working hours, with multiple opportunities available in Fall City.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, attentive childcare in the child’s home
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities such as play, reading, and arts and crafts
- Maintain open, respectful communication with parents and coworkers
- Keep common-sense cleanup related to your activities and meals with the child
- Support development by observing children and adjusting activities to their needs
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on childcare experience (paid or unpaid)
- Enjoy working with children and bring a friendly, creative approach
- Availability at least two days per week for 6–9 hour shifts between 7am and 7pm
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (driving children is not required)
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and move safely throughout the day (bending, squatting, reaching)
- Be 18 years of age or older and able to provide 3 references (2 childcare-related and 1 character reference)
