About the Role
Join our team as a part-time Juice Barista in State College. You’ll prepare fresh juice and specialty menu items for customers while following food safety standards and company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare the work area for specialty food and beverage production
- Review demonstration and program materials to understand scope, instructions, production needs, and compliance requirements
- Operate equipment safely, including hot machinery and sharp tools, and use proper lifting techniques for boxes and heavier items
- Follow all safe food handling steps for preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal
- Complete required reporting tasks, including online submissions
- Monitor the product/event schedule and email for upcoming activities, updates, changes, and supervisor requests
- Complete required certifications and attend any scheduled training
Requirements
- Ability to follow food safety and handling procedures consistently
- Comfort working with food preparation equipment in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail for labeling, merchandising, and reporting
- Reliable schedule availability for part-time shifts
