About the Role
We’re a warm, active family in Mountain View (94043) looking for a part-time nanny to support our 5-year-old son. We value routine, honesty, kindness, and open communication, and we’re excited to welcome someone who enjoys an engaging, playful day with a child who loves sports, reading, and hands-on play.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, safe care for our 5-year-old
- Support daily routines and help maintain a structured schedule
- Engage the child through active play (sports, running, ball play) and creative activities (Legos, cars)
- Read to the child and encourage learning through books
- Communicate clearly with the parents about the day’s activities and any needs
Requirements
- Experience caring for children in a nanny or childcare role
- Comfort with energetic, kind, and curious preschool/kindergarten-age children
- Strong communication skills and a reliable, routine-focused approach
- Ability to support play-based learning (reading, games, and hands-on activities)
