About the Role
Blink Health is looking for a Pharmacy Prior Authorization Specialist to support patients and providers by helping ensure prescription requests move smoothly through the prior authorization process. You’ll help reduce delays so patients can access the medications they need.
Responsibilities
- Review prescription and prior authorization requirements to confirm completeness and accuracy
- Coordinate with prescribers, pharmacies, and internal teams to obtain needed documentation
- Track requests through the authorization workflow and follow up on outstanding items
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders to help resolve issues and reduce processing time
- Maintain accurate records of request status and outcomes
Requirements
- Experience working in pharmacy operations, prior authorization, or a related healthcare support role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requests at once
- Comfort communicating with providers and handling sensitive patient information
- Basic understanding of pharmacy and insurance prior authorization processes
