About the Role
Join our team as a Principal Art Outsourcing Manager for an unpublished R&D product. You’ll connect internal product teams with the right external art partners, strengthening art outsourcing infrastructure while keeping production reliable and high quality. This role blends veteran prop art production experience with strong coordination and partner management skills to make the outsourcing process world-class for everyone involved.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with external art partners through clear, two-way communication
- Create and deliver high-quality prop assets while reviewing partner-created work
- Define and improve outsourcing workflows that support sustainable production
- Set and guide artistic standards to ensure assets align with the game’s vision
- Collaborate with senior art stakeholders to plan asset development and manage quality expectations
Requirements
- Proven experience producing prop art and/or leading prop asset development
- Strong knowledge of art production pipelines and asset workflows
- Experience managing external vendors or outsourcing partners
- Ability to evaluate art quality and provide actionable feedback
- Excellent communication and planning skills to keep work on track
