About the Role
Microsoft’s Commerce Platforms organization builds scalable, resilient, and AI-powered commerce and finance systems. We improve governance, speed up decision-making, and streamline end-to-end operations across mission-critical platforms.
In this role, you’ll help design, build, and operate intelligent commerce foundations, financial platforms, global payments systems, offer management services, commerce data platforms, AI-powered capabilities, and cloud-scale infrastructure that support customers, partners, and employees worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering of high-impact commerce platform capabilities across software and AI systems
- Drive architecture and technical decision-making to ensure secure, reliable, scalable, and compliant outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve governance, operational excellence, and data-driven delivery
- Build and maintain platform services that support end-to-end commerce experiences
Requirements
- Strong experience delivering production software at scale
- Demonstrated ability to apply AI/ML concepts to real-world business or platform problems
- Proficiency working with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
- Experience collaborating across teams to meet reliability, security, and compliance needs
