About the Role
As a Product Architect within our Software Engineering division, you’ll help shape and deliver cloud infrastructure architecture that supports commercial applications at scale. You’ll analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement major improvements to existing systems while guiding the strategic direction of new product capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Specify, design, and implement major changes to existing software architecture
- Create new architecture for a moderate-sized product or a key portion of a larger platform
- Develop code, complete programming tasks, and troubleshoot complex issues
- Build and execute unit tests, including unit test plans
- Review QA-created integration and regression test plans to ensure coverage and quality
- Partner with QA and porting engineering to maintain consistency, testability, and portability across products
- Serve as a primary consultant on large initiatives that align to long-term organizational strategy
Requirements
- BS or MS degree (or equivalent experience)
- Strong software architecture and infrastructure design experience
- Proven ability to implement unit tests and support end-to-end testing readiness
- Expert-level communication and leadership skills across engineering and QA teams
