About the Role
We’re seeking a Product Architect to help analyze, design, develop, and troubleshoot software for commercial end-user applications. In this role, you’ll specify and implement major updates to existing software architecture and help create new architecture for a moderate portion of a larger product.
Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements and translate them into scalable architecture and design
- Write and maintain production code for end-user and commercial applications
- Develop unit tests and unit test plans to ensure reliability and correctness
- Execute testing and debugging to resolve issues and improve performance
- Review integration and regression test plans created by QA
- Partner with QA and porting engineering to support consistency, testability, and portability across products
- Provide expert guidance and strategic input on new products, processes, and engineering techniques
Requirements
- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience
- Professional expertise in software architecture, design, development, and debugging
- Experience creating and maintaining unit tests and test plans
- Strong collaboration skills with QA and cross-functional engineering teams
