About the Role
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Training, you’ll split your time between direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) support and team leadership, training, and program coordination. You’ll work under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and support classroom and residential programming for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct ABA services while following treatment plans and behavior support protocols
- Support implementation of evidence-based practices, including Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- Assist with training and day-to-day guidance for support staff within school and residential settings
- Help ensure program expectations and documentation align with certification standards
- Collaborate with supervising BCBAs, educators, and program leadership to meet each learner’s needs
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in, or prepared to complete, RBT training and certification steps
- Experience or strong interest in supporting individuals with ASD and IDD
- Ability to follow clinical and behavioral plans with consistency and professionalism
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively across programs
