Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Behavior Intervention Implementation

About the Role

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Training, you’ll split your time between direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) support and team leadership, training, and program coordination. You’ll work under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and support classroom and residential programming for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct ABA services while following treatment plans and behavior support protocols
  • Support implementation of evidence-based practices, including Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
  • Assist with training and day-to-day guidance for support staff within school and residential settings
  • Help ensure program expectations and documentation align with certification standards
  • Collaborate with supervising BCBAs, educators, and program leadership to meet each learner’s needs

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in, or prepared to complete, RBT training and certification steps
  • Experience or strong interest in supporting individuals with ASD and IDD
  • Ability to follow clinical and behavioral plans with consistency and professionalism
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively across programs
