About the Role
iPiD is seeking a Sales Director to drive growth across Europe by identifying and securing new commercial opportunities in the cross-border payments space. You’ll build strategic relationships, open new markets, and partner with internal teams to expand our presence across the region.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with company goals to accelerate growth across Europe
- Conduct market research and analysis to create business plans for expansion and business development opportunities
- Understand customer needs and ensure existing accounts continue to receive value from our solutions
- Acquire new customers while managing and strengthening relationships with both new and existing clients
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and customer success to support customer outcomes
- Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders
- Track commercial performance using key metrics and provide reporting to senior leadership
- Support financial target setting, budgeting, and ongoing budget monitoring
Requirements
- Strong academic background in engineering, business, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience with a proven track record in the payments industry, ideally cross-border payments
- Demonstrated experience in a commercial director or similar role for Europe
- Experience in sales and/or marketing, including managing relationships with key clients
- Strong knowledge of market research methods and analytical approaches
- Solid understanding of performance reporting and financial/budget processes
- Strategic mindset with strong commercial awareness
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills in English
- Ability to communicate with both technical and business stakeholders
- Fluency in English plus at least two major European languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish, or Italian)
- Based anywhere in Europe with valid work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available
