About the Role
Arcadia Science is seeking a Scientific Full-Stack Software Engineer to help connect biology research with modern software systems. You’ll design and build web applications and data infrastructure that support collaboration between wet-lab and computational scientists, turning complex workflows into clear, end-to-end digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack web applications that support research and product workflows
- Develop data infrastructure and tooling to improve reliability and usability of scientific processes
- Partner with bench scientists to understand real-world workflows and translate needs into software
- Ship internal tools that make day-to-day experimentation and analysis faster and more consistent
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate engineering work across research and product surfaces
Requirements
- Experience building full-stack applications for real users (front-end and back-end)
- Strong understanding of data modeling, APIs, and reliable system design
- Comfort working in a scientific or research-adjacent environment (biology background is a plus)
- Ability to learn domain workflows quickly and iterate based on user feedback
