About the Role

Sur La Table is seeking a Seasonal Chef Instructor, Savory to serve as an in-store authority on savory cooking. In this role, you’ll help customers build confidence in the kitchen by teaching cooking fundamentals, sharing specialized culinary techniques, and inspiring a love of cooking and good food.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional in-store service and support the #bestincenter standard
• Teach savory cooking classes and demonstrations with clear, engaging instruction
• Share expert guidance on culinary techniques and cooking fundamentals
• Provide a welcoming, hands-on experience that encourages customers to explore new recipes and ingredients
• Partner with the store team to promote events and drive customer engagement

Requirements

• Strong culinary knowledge with a focus on savory cooking
• Experience teaching, coaching, or leading hands-on cooking experiences
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfort working in a retail store environment and demonstrating techniques safely
