About the Role
SpaceX is looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel to provide practical, solutions-focused guidance to multiple internal stakeholders on complex securities and corporate governance matters. You will help strengthen our compliance posture and support board and committee needs as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities
- Lead securities law compliance efforts, including corporate governance support and board-related activities
- Modernize board processes, committee charters, and governance policies to reflect current best practices
- Design and implement a comprehensive compliance framework covering applicable securities laws and regulations
- Advise on offerings and related regulatory requirements, including Rule 701 and Regulation D offerings
- Support governance and compliance documentation, review, and ongoing program improvements
Requirements
- Significant experience advising on securities law compliance and corporate governance matters
- Strong understanding of the Securities Act of 1933 and Securities Exchange Act of 1934
- Experience with private offering frameworks such as Regulation D and Rule 701
- Excellent judgment, communication, and stakeholder management skills
