About the Role
1Password is looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to help build and evolve the data platform that powers secure, reliable experiences for teams and customers. You’ll work on the foundation that enables safe identity, secure application sign-ins, and trusted device access—supporting a mission focused on productivity without compromising security.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data platform capabilities that are scalable, reliable, and secure
- Partner with engineering and platform teams to deliver data workflows and services
- Improve data quality, observability, and performance across pipelines and systems
- Drive automation and best practices for infrastructure, deployments, and operational readiness
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience building data platform solutions in production environments
- Strong skills in data engineering and distributed systems
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and modern data tooling
- Solid understanding of security and reliability practices for data systems
- Effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams
