About the Role
Watermark is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to help solve complex problems in security and risk management. As a service-disabled veteran-owned small business founded by USAF veterans, we bring deep familiarity with DoD security programs and mission needs.
Responsibilities
- Apply advanced data science techniques to support security and risk management initiatives
- Analyze data to uncover insights that inform mission and program decisions
- Develop and improve models, analytics, and related solutions
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate requirements into actionable analyses
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with senior-level ownership of analyses or models
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex datasets
- Experience working in security, risk, or DoD-related environments is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to explain findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
