About the Role
Roku is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to help power the TV streaming experience. As a key member of our team in San Jose, you’ll apply advanced analytics and data science to connect viewers with content, support publishers in growing audiences, and help advertisers engage customers in new ways.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve data science models and analytics that drive product and business outcomes
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define problems, identify data needs, and translate insights into action
- Design experiments and measure impact using rigorous statistical methods
- Build reliable data pipelines and ensure datasets are accurate, accessible, and well-documented
- Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience as a data scientist, with a strong focus on modeling and experimentation
- Strong programming skills (e.g., Python) and experience working with large-scale data
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and statistical analysis
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and analytics teams
- Experience presenting results and influencing decisions through data
