Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) AWS Infrastructure Incident Management

About the Role

As a Senior Engineering Manager (M4) for FUB Infrastructure within Follow Up Boss, you’ll lead the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) function that keeps our core platform dependable, scalable, secure, and cost-effective. You’ll partner with platform and product engineering teams to reduce risk, improve reliability, and accelerate developer velocity.

Responsibilities

  • Own reliability outcomes for FUB application infrastructure across dev, QA, and production AWS accounts
  • Lead incident handling practices, including on-call operations, response coordination, and post-incident follow-through
  • Drive observability, monitoring, and cost management for platform workloads
  • Advance developer experience tooling such as onboarding, deployment automation, dev environments, and CI/CD enablement
  • Collaborate with security partners on audits, compliance, application security tooling, and policy implementation
  • Partner with central platform organizations (e.g., database, networking, security, and cloud platform teams) to ensure end-to-end system reliability

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading SRE or reliability engineering programs in cloud environments
  • Strong background in AWS infrastructure and operational best practices
  • Experience improving observability and incident management processes
  • Track record of partnering across engineering, security, and platform teams to deliver measurable reliability improvements
  • Leadership experience guiding teams through automation and operational excellence initiatives
