About the Role
Fastly is building a more trustworthy Internet, helping customers deliver secure, reliable digital experiences at the edge. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer focused on the Certification Authority, you’ll play a key role in supporting public-trust TLS infrastructure that underpins secure connections for Fastly and its customers.
Responsibilities
- Design, operate, and improve infrastructure components supporting certificate and TLS trust workflows
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure, dependable systems at scale
- Monitor service health, troubleshoot incidents, and drive post-incident improvements
- Contribute to automation and operational tooling to enhance reliability and efficiency
- Document systems and maintain clear runbooks for critical infrastructure
Requirements
- Experience operating infrastructure in production environments with strong reliability focus
- Working knowledge of TLS concepts and certificate lifecycle fundamentals
- Proficiency with automation and scripting to support infrastructure operations
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, security-minded engineering culture
