About the Role
Brex is seeking a Senior Manager to lead accounting and financial systems initiatives that help finance teams gain real-time visibility and streamline operations. In this role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen financial processes and support scalable automation across the platform.
Responsibilities
- Own key accounting and financial systems programs, ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls.
- Partner with finance, engineering, and operations teams to improve workflows for spend management, bill pay, and related processes.
- Drive process improvements and automation to reduce manual work and enhance data quality.
- Monitor system performance and support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and ongoing enhancements.
- Contribute to documentation, governance, and audit readiness for financial systems and related controls.
Requirements
- Strong background in accounting and financial systems (e.g., ERP/accounting platforms and integrations).
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and translating business needs into scalable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to improve controls, reporting accuracy, and data integrity.
- Comfort working with technical teams and understanding system workflows and automation.
- Strong communication skills and a track record of driving results in fast-moving environments.
