About the Role
SMX is hiring a Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator to deliver day-to-day operational support for enterprise classified networks. In this onsite role at Fort Bragg, NC, you’ll help ensure mission-critical systems remain available through proactive monitoring, timely troubleshooting, and disciplined maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain enterprise Windows and Linux servers
- Manage Active Directory and related directory services
- Monitor network performance and system health to detect issues early
- Apply patches and perform routine system updates
- Support configuration management activities
- Respond to outages, incidents, and operational alerts
- Assist with hardware and software upgrades
- Maintain accurate system and operational documentation
- Run health checks and validate system readiness
- Coordinate and execute scheduled maintenance windows
Requirements
- Experience administering enterprise Windows and Linux environments
- Active Directory administration experience
- Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills
- Ability to perform patching, maintenance, and configuration management
- TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (CI Poly required)
